To the city it Amberg,
Thank you for giving this opportunity to give some suggestions on what to do with the incoming money.
First, I would like to see a restriction put into place in Altstadt for non residents after certain hours, especially on weekends. Too often I find it difficult to find legal parking with my parking pass around town. If non residents were required to use the multiple parking garages, that would save space for us residents. If that's not possible, allow residents to get a card to access the parking garages for free at all times. That way, if there is no legal parking, we still have access somewhere.
Second, I would like to see new stores open up in Alstadt in the currently run down and closed locations. They are an eyesore to the city and could easily bring in new people, especially if they were more oriented towards teens/young adults. There are currently multiple clothing stores, so preferably not clothing brands.
Third, I'd like to see better control on traffic in the congested areas. I'm not sure on how to fix this, but it would be nice to see.

Too often I find it difficult to find legal parking spaces in the city with my parking permit. If non-residents were required to use the multiple parking garages, that would save space for us residents. If this is not possible, allow residents to obtain a card for free access to the parking garages at any time. So we have access somewhere even if there is no legal parking.
Secondly, I would like new shops to be created in the old town in the currently dilapidated and closed locations. They are an eyesore to the city and could easily attract new people, especially if they were more geared towards teenagers/young adults. Currently there are several clothing stores, so preferably no clothing brands.
Thirdly, I would like to see better traffic control in urban areas. I'm not sure how to fix this, but it would be nice to see.
